The Boy With The Thorn In His Side

An online friend introduced me to the music of Michelle Shocked last week and it's been the main staple of my musical diet for the past five days. If you haven't heard her, I strongly suggest you give her a listen.

Had an eventful day.

The neighbour's cat had left a dead rat on my bedroom windowsill this morning.

Went to work, not realising I left my keys in the apartment.

Spent twenty minutes trying to stock shelves with a customer ranting at me about why Huey Lewis And The News was the best band of the 80's (I do not agree).

Got home, couldn't get in since I had no keys. Went for a walk instead.

Got shouted at outside the Mart for being a hipster (again).

Was chased through a portion of the park by an angry crow.

Returned home, remembered where I hid the spare key, found dead bird on the kitchen floor.

I don't know how that damned cat gets in my apartment, but the sooner I find out, the better.
